I got this because I keep my charger upstairs and wanted a way to charge my
phone in my downstairs office. The documentation that came with this
product was very poorly written. I couldn’t get the thing to work until I
watched this video and figured out that I was using the wrong side of the
    mat! Duh!!!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S phone and the part that you plug the charger into
got bent and will no long allow me to charge my phone. Would this charge it
without needing the part to the phone that got bent?

@CR250895 The powermat requires a special battery cover with a sensor to
charge. Unfortunately, we only sell blackberry products. I would suggest
checking with PowerMat company first to see if they have the battery cover
you need for your phone in order to use it with this charging mat.

Until all new devices come with pre-built support for the powermat, and
these mats are everywhere, this is useless. Right now it’s just adding
another step between the phone and the wall. Right now you get a charger
that plugs into a thing that plugs into a wall. Overall, cool idea though

except when all wall cord plugins fail after abount 6 months of charging
and you have to get more which in our family sums up alot more then 100

Dont buy any wireless charger that doesnt guarantee at least an 8mm
charging range. This product fails to list this important spec.
